With over 30 years of experience in the theme park, entertainment, and television industries, Colette Piceau has made a name for herself as a creative visionary with a distinctive flair for fresh, exciting concepts. Her innovative, award-winning ideas have reached from Florida to California, from Brussels to Bangkok and across the seas on the ships of the Disney Cruise Line.
As head writer and creative director of It Ain’t Shakespeare, Inc., Ms. Piceau leads and contributes to creative projects worldwide. Recent work has included Universal’s Epic Universe theme park, Kind Heaven, a fully immersive entertainment experience that was scheduled to open in Spring 2020, and the FM Global Innovation Lab.
Ms. Piceau works directly with clients, putting dreams into words and bringing creative visions to vivid life for theme parks, attractions, museums, exhibits, corporate visitor centers, and live stage shows. She has contracted with an impressive roster of clients such as Walt Disney World, Universal Creative, SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, Herschend Family Entertainment and the Carnival Corporation.
Throughout her career, Ms. Piceau has been a writer on television series such as Jack Hanna’s Animal Adventures and ShamuTV, the award-winning environmental education series. She was also head writer for Walt Disney’s Secrets of the Animal Kingdom television show.
